Reduced Risk of Heart Disease- Green tea's antioxidant properties help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease by as much as 30% by improving blood cholesterol levels and preventing oxidation.


Potential Protection Against Cancer Growth- As green tea is a powerful antioxidant, this means it helps protect the cells against oxidative damage, which is a factor in cancer development. Some studies showed a 42% reduction in risk of developing colorectal cancer in those participants who drank green tea, and a 20-30% lower risk in women drinking green tea in developing breast cancer.


Better Brain Function- In addition to containing caffeine, which helps boost focus and alertness, green tea also contains  L-theanine which helps boost dopamine levels, has anti anxiety effects as well as helps boost alpha waves, which is associated with a meditative state. Green tea has also shown promise in protection against Alzheimer's and dementia.
